Call list

In my short film, there's only two main characters which are known. These are Joshua and Joshua's mum, other characters that are shown but aren't important are Lil Rocco and the unknown characters. Joshua is seen much more in the film than other as we are following his life, therefore is the protagonist in my short film.

Pauleta Rose - Joshua 

I chose Pauleta for this specific character to play Joshua, because he has done drama for GCSE and is a very good actor. Also I trust his very much and find him to be very reliable, and I needed someone like this so that I would be able to produce the best short film possible. 

Serena Smith (Myself) - Joshua's Mum & unknown characters 

I decided to play Joshua's Mum and the unknown characters myself because these were very easy and simple character who aren't shown as much. This allowed different scenes to get done very quickly, rather than two extra characters. 

Pablo Alves - Joshua's little brother 

I chose Pablo to be Joshua's little brother because in real life Pauleta and Pablo are real siblings, which allowed the natural connection to show at the beginning of the short film. It also made it easier for characters to work together, especially if they already know one another.
